How Luke built the book

Something close to a quarter of Acts is people talking, and Luke tells Peter’s half of the book and Paul’s half in matching pairs — each heals a man lame from birth, each raises the dead, each is loosed from prison, each confronts a magician. Three rounds here work on that: who is speaking, what he is quoting, and which of Peter’s episodes Luke set opposite which of Paul’s. Every claim arrives with both references, so nothing has to be taken on trust.
