Daniel

Daniel is two books in one binding. The first half tells court stories — a diet refused, a furnace, writing on a wall, a den of lions — in which exiles keep their integrity and pagan kings are forced to acknowledge God. The second half turns to visions of successive kingdoms and a final one that will not pass away.
