Obadiah

Edom descended from Esau, Jacob's brother, so its conduct at Jerusalem's fall was a betrayal inside the family. Obadiah indicts the pride of a nation that thought its cliff fortresses put it beyond reach. Edom gloated over the city and looted it, and it cut off those who were escaping.
