Psalms

The Psalms speak to God in every mood. Exuberant praise sits beside accusations that God has forgotten, and neither is edited out. More psalms are laments than any other kind. The collection is arranged into five books and moves overall from lament toward praise, closing in an unbroken run of hallelujah.
