Abraham tells Isaac that God will provide the lamb; the Passover lamb's blood shields Israel; Isaiah's servant is led like a lamb to the slaughter; John the Baptist points and says 'the Lamb of God'; Peter and Revelation keep the title until the Lamb stands slain at the centre of heaven.
