The Didache on baptism and the Thanksgiving

The Didache, "the Teaching", is a short manual for a Christian community, lost for centuries and rediscovered in a Constantinople library in 1873. These two chapters are the oldest instructions outside the New Testament for how to baptize and how to give thanks over the cup and the bread.
