Salvation

Soteriology is the doctrine of salvation: what God does to rescue people, in what order, and on what basis. Much of its vocabulary is shared across the Christian traditions and drawn straight from Paul. Where the traditions divide, this academy names each view and lets the reader weigh them; it does not pick a winner.
