Terms of Use

1. What Scripture Trail is

Scripture Trail is a free Bible-literacy web app: quizzes about the biblical story, Scripture memorization practice, maps, and related learning tools. This release is guest-only. There are no accounts, no purchases, no subscriptions, no messaging, and no way to post or share content with other users.

We may change, add or remove features. If a change adds something these terms do not cover (accounts or payments, for example), we will publish revised terms before that feature becomes available.

2. Children and parents

Scripture Trail is made for a broad audience: adults, teens, churches and families. It is not designed primarily for children under 13, though children are welcome to use it with a parent or guardian’s permission.

If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to read these terms with you. Tapping a button in an app does not, by itself, mean a parent has agreed to anything, so we do not treat it that way. A parent or guardian who lets a child use Scripture Trail is responsible for that use.

3. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Interfere with, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service
• Try to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its systems
• Copy, scrape or redistribute the app’s content at scale
• Use the service to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights

We may suspend or block access that damages the service or puts other users at risk.

4. Bible text and content

Scripture Trail uses the Berean Standard Bible and the World English Bible, both freely licensed for this use.

Quiz questions, explanations, maps, learning paths and other original material are ours, and are provided for personal study and classroom-style teaching use. You may not republish them commercially without permission.

Historical and background material is offered as education, not as a statement of any church’s doctrine. Where Christians read a passage or an event differently, we try to describe the positions rather than settle them. Nothing in the app is pastoral, theological, legal, medical or financial advice.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you use Scripture Trail. In short: your progress stays on your device, there are no accounts, the only thing counted is anonymous daily totals, and this release uses no advertising.

6. Availability and disclaimer

Scripture Trail is provided free of charge, “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors, and we do not guarantee that your locally stored progress will persist. Clearing browser data or changing devices will usually erase it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of your use of Scripture Trail is limited to one hundred United States dollars (US$100.00). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case those limitations do not apply to you.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you and we each consent to those courts.

There is no mandatory arbitration and no class-action waiver in these terms.

8. Where this release is offered

This release is intended and supported for users in the United States. We do not market it elsewhere.

9. Changes

We will change the effective date at the top whenever these terms are revised. Continuing to use Scripture Trail after a change means you accept the revised terms.
